Following in his father’s footsteps, Patrick received his Army commission from The Claremont McKenna College as an Armor Officer. He spent most of his Army career in armor and cavalry assignments.

While on active duty, Patrick did a fellowship at a Federally Funded Research Center, and his passion for writing and research sparked to life. After his career in the Army, he took a role as an executive in a professional consulting firm.

Patrick is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He now spends most of his time with his family, writing, taking pictures of the Texas sky, and enjoying Texas whiskey with his family and friends.
